As a QS Company we make sure the schedule gives you the right lengths, and as per NZ Industry standards the correct minimum bend diameter and dealing with wastage. Having it delivered to site and installed saves even more time and energy, allowing you to concentrate on the rest of the build.
The steel fabrication services can be negotiated based on the QS take-offs we give also you can Project manage the jobs based on tying the reinforcement rather than handling the cut and bend reinforcement jobs. This saves significant time may it be for small residential, commercial or high end design structures such as Bridges to Culverts.
Our team doesn’t classify a job as small or large or if it has small or large beams. Our concept is it is made-up of reinforcing bar, links and stirrups, may it be larger scale and more complex items such as spiral pile cages. We will provide a free, competitive, no obligation quote. Once you confirm the pricing on your quote, an experienced QS details the specific items that make up your order and it gets manufactured.
You can get pricing from various suppliers or we can do that for you, this usually takes 10 working days from when you have accepted the schedule of Quantities and confirm the manufacturing/take off schedule. We give you the best option based on various parameters and any further requirement or costing, delivery times should be negotiated directly with the supplier.
The usual practice is the delivery tends to occur within 15 Working days of a confirmed order. Clarity and good quality plans are the most important to ensure the QS understands your requirement. Consented drawings – Always give us the consented drawings for new builds.
Engineering drawings supersedes Architectural drawings for the Schedules as we are governed by design principles, any nominal changes we will do the needful.
Any uncommon items will be tagged during quoting process and will cost additional, discretion of QS is accepted here, just because we added a few lengths of reo we won’t charge your top dollars. Dedicated to helping the Humans who are our customers.
